Styron’s Tree Service provides professional tree care services for residential, commercial, and municipal properties on North Carolina's Crystal Coast. Originally founded in 1973 by Larry Styron and purchased by David Styron in 1996, we are a family-owned and -operated business and the oldest continuous tree service in Carteret County. Whether you need tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, or a consultation with our Certified Arborist, we are committed to providing you with excellent service to the highest industry standards at a fair and affordable price. Meet Our Arborist

Owner, David Styron, has been an ISA Certified Arborist for more than 20 years and is currently the only active Certified Arborist in Carteret County. The Certified Arborist designation is achieved by extensive study of the art and science of tree care and by passing a comprehensive examination. Additionally, there are continuing education requirements to be met. A Certified Arborist will help determine the health of a tree, whether a tree should be removed, risk assessment for a tree after a storm or in the course of construction near the tree, and valuation of trees for the purposes of insurance claims, eminent domain, and other litigation.

Specialized Equipment

Styron’s Tree Service takes pride in the in-house maintenance of its state-of-the-art trucks and equipment necessary to do an excellent and complete job to the standards our clients have come to expect. Every truck has been outfitted for efficiency and performance. Our truck beds have been modified to accommodate falling tree blocks directly into a specially fortified bed. We have spare equipment available for emergencies as well.
